As a Learning Developer

You will:

Your main role and activity will include: 

  • The build and development of innovative, high quality, eLearning products from scratch, utilising suitable learner engagement and interactions.
    • Using Storyline 360, Rise and other authoring tools, develop eLearning content suitable for the intended audience, respecting learning styles and embracing a range of effective learning interactions and scenarios.
  • Tailoring and adaptation of existing eLearning materials in line with customer requirements.
    • Update and amend existing content to ensure it meets customer requirements.
    • Enhance current content and functionality as appropriate.
  • Development of materials, from client brief through to storyboard, execution and delivery.
    • Participate in client meetings, produce a brief and support the writing of storyboard content with Subject Matter Experts. Produce samples and prototypes, through to finished product and testing.
  • Amendment of existing eLearning (general content updates) delivering appearance and functionality improvements.
    • Update and amend existing content (e.g. legislation updates)
    • Enhance current content and functionality as appropriate.
  • Provision of technical expertise on a range of projects.
    • Contribute to providing solutions to delivering a range of learning options.
  • Develop eLearning materials using Articulate Storyline 360.
    • Whilst Articulate 360 remains the current development platform, be flexible to test and develop content in other authoring tools as appropriate.
  • Investigate client needs and propose innovative learning solutions by thinking creatively and by pushing boundaries.
    • Ensure our eLearning is as innovative, creative and learner effective as possible. Work beyond standard templates, layouts and stock content.
  • Support the development of mobile learning solutions.
    • Ensure all content is published to ensure mobile access (where possible).
    • As our work and focus changes and grows, contribute towards the research, testing and development of mobile based learning
  • Administer and manage Learning Management Systems
    • Create courses and upload content
    • Manage learners and provide reports to their activity
    • Trouble-shoot issues and respond to learner questions

You have:

  • Prior experience in an eLearning development role
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment


  • Understanding of Environmental/Sustainability Industry
  • A good understanding of generic Learning and Development
  • Knowledge of different learning styles and methodologies


  • Starting salary will reflect current experience
